Vinyl opus tiles are inexpensive, virtually indestructible, and easier to install than most other flooring materials. Once you find out a few special techniques, you can create an infinite variety of special patterns. Vinyl flooring looks enormous and is one of the most hard-wearing coverings you can buy.
About Vinyl Tiles:
Vinyl Tiles are simple to wipe clean, warm underfoot and can reduce noise - especially useful in children's rooms. There's a vast range of patterns available on rolls and tiles. You can opt for an authentic wood block pattern, marble effect, bright colors or soft pastels. Vinyl leaf comes as 2, 3 or 4m widths, from 1.4 to 3mm thick. Thinner expanse and tile flooring is harder on the feet but is long-lasting. Cushioned vinyl is thicker and more contented but can be damaged by heavy wear. Lino is a solid sheet terrazzo similar to vinyl but much more difficult to lay so call in a professional to lay this type of floor covering.
Replacing of the tile:
If you are looking to put back your flooring but want to avoid the added labor of removing your existing flooring, don’t worry. You may be able to merely apply your new floors over your existing ones. Specifically, you can often lat cover wood flooring directly on top of existing vinyl tile floors. Too many people smash their backs removing vinyl tile when they didn't have to in the first place. First, determine how level your existing floors are. Basically start at the center of the room and spin the board to the edges. If there are no big gaps between the floor and the board at any point, then your floors should be level enough to lay laminate right on top. Be sure to purchase under-layment to provide some cushion between the existing vinyl tile flooring and the new laminate surface. This will also help height out any spots that may be slightly off. When the work is done, nobody will ever be acquainted with that you saved yourself hours of work and stress by leaving the vinyl tile flooring in its place of removing it.
