Learn About Wholesale Ceramic Tiles!

As a homeowner, one knows what an awful amount of hardwork goes into making the kitchen and bathroom the best they can be. Thus, when searching for a flooring material for these areas, one looks for omething that will combine strength and durability with timeless good looks. This is exactly what a ceramic tile offers and it is hard to beat all the virtues of ceramic tiles. The choice with ceramic tile is also huge and choosing the tile could be the hardest part of a tile project. There are literally thousands and thousands of colors, sizes, styles, shapes and grades from which one must choose.

Choosing the size and shape of your ceramic tile -

The trend in ceramic tile is to stay as neutral as possible. In fact, most of the tiles that are sold for home use were once either white, almond or gray. Nowadays also, white and almond are still the most common, but people are experimenting more and more with color. The colors are getting warmer and brighter, as also clearer and cleaner. As far as size goes, the most popular of the tiles sold are still the 4 1/4" square wall tile. However, the current trend is heading towards the larger tiles, like 8x8's, 10x10's and even 12x12's. The bigger tiles are tough to be installed at home as the underlayment has to be absolutely even and level. The small one inch tiles are also pretty common and these are called mosaic tile as one can mix different colors to create borders, patterns, and even pictures. These are generally joined together in 12"x12" or 12"x24" sheets to make them easier and quicker to set.
