Ants are the insects very commonly found. They are trouble when they bite or cluster over the food items. They are generally after the food item. However far the food may be kept, they come crippling after its aroma. As the food smell attracts them, smell can only drive away the ants. Aromatherapy is the most effective therapy that can help to drive away the ants completely from your house.

Aromatic tips for ants

Try out some of the aromatic tips given below that can help to drive away the ants:

1. Lemon juice and jojoba oil: Extract some lemon juice in the bowl. Shake it so much so that it becomes thick. Now add jojoba oil to the juice. Now apply the mixture to the cavities of the wall, windowpanes, grill and all possible places from where there are chances of ant getting in the house. The peculiar odor of the mixture will not let ants come closer to it.

2. Lemon juice and witch hazel: This prevents ant from coming close to you. Extract lemon juice in the bowl. Add two ounce of witch hazel that is an alcohol to the juice. The mixture becomes thick. Add some water to it, so that you can easily fill it in the bottle. Now spray it on your close to prevent ants from coming near you. The smell of the witch hazel keeps the ants away from you.

3. Eucalyptus and lemon: Aroma of eucalyptus works wonder on driving away the ants. Simply extract lemon in the bowl. Add double quantity of eucalyptus oil to the lemon juice. Mix it properly. Spray the mixture wherever you think the ants would get in the house. Eucalyptus smell keeps away the ants from coming in the house. In addition to that it also prevents any other form of insect coming in the house.

4. Lavender oil: Add some water to the lavender oil. Water acts as the base to the mixture. It prevents lavender oil from evaporate fast. Lavender oil keeps away the ants completely from your house. It also acts as the deodorizer and room freshener.
