There are many methods that are used to seed tomatoes in greenhouse or in Hydroponics Gardening. The success of any method depends on the farmer's or owner's management skills and seeding methods. If you want to seed a few plants then there is no value for any method but if you want seed large plants or commercial purpose then you have to follow proper method, which will give you more benefits and more satisfaction. These two elements are basic thing of any farming or gardening method. Careful attention and management skills are required for any plants or production. This is an attempt to provide some tips of seeding tomatoes in Hydroponics Gardening.

First you have to seed tomato before frost season. After 2 to 3 months you will see tomato plants. Then plant 8-10 inches plants in a 4 inches pot.
 
There is special method for seeding. Use growing media that should be contain 65-75 percent sawdust and 20-35 percent sand. You can also use other best material such as peat moss or perlite etc. instead of sawdust. Then fill up it in 18"'x 18"x 2 3/4" size container. If you like to use your own natural material you can do that.
 
Then wet the mixed materials using plain water. After a night plant about 90 or more seeds in each of 5 to 6 shallow rows. Then sprinkle sand over the seeds. It should be, just, enough to cover the seeds. Then pore water gently so that the seeds should not be move here and there. Then keep the soil moist. It does not required coolest temperature. It is harmful to the seeding. So try to control the coolest temperature and maintain it.
 
Then spray water on the emerged sprouts and keep the media wet.  Provide proper light if needed. Make temperature cooler than that was using for germinating period.  But it should not be lower than 60 degree. Water daily or as required to maintain soil wet.

After few days transplant small in pots or containers. Then follow next steps of Hydroponics Gardening. Now you can use any water method like the Trickle method, Ebb and Flow method or Aquaponic water method. You can use any compost whatever you like or whatever the plants required.
